WELCOME

I have been writing for many years, but in
January, 2008, God opened the door for me to
work from home as a freelance writer as I
pursue my dream of becoming a published
novelist.

To date, my work has been published in
greeting cards, magazines, anthologies, and
e-zines. Most of my freelance work is for the owner of FaithWriters.com, for whom I write newsletters, maintain the FaithWriters blog, as well as do marketing, write web content,
and moderate message board forums. I'm not taking on much new work at this time, but occasionally accept small editing projects.

I am also the Grand Rapids Christian Fiction Examiner and the National Christian Writing Examiner for Examiner.com. There, you'll find articles, book reviews, book trailers, author interviews and more on everything related to Christian fiction and Christian writing.

While freelancing helps pay the bills, my heart is in fiction. I have been a finalist in several national contests, including the ACFW Genesis and RWA's Get Your Stiletto in the Door. Most recently, I took home the grand prize in the 2009 FaithWriters Page Turner Contest.

I am privileged to be represented by Terry Burns, of Hartline Literary Agency. Terry is currently pitching my novel, Mind over Madi, a lighthearted Women's Fiction with elements of humor. I am currently writing the second book in this projected 3-book series.

Visit my FICTION PAGE for all of my fictional works in progress and to tag along on my track to becoming a published novelist.

Also click on over to my writing blog, On the Write Track, where I post my work, my thoughts, writing tidbits, and sometimes even host fun contests with great giveaways.

Thanks for stopping by. Visit the CONTACT PAGE to get in touch regarding my freelance services or just to say hi. I'd love to meet you!

Blessings,y
